Chemical Peels

Chemical peels
Chemical peels are popular skin treatments of the face.  A “peel” often does not result in visible peeling of the skin.  It is a gentle, chemical removal of the outermost layer of the skin and is performed in the office.  There are varying strengths and types of peels, and our most popular peel is the ZO Skin Health Stimulator Peel.
During this treatment, we cleanse the face and then use an exfoliating polish, a polish activator, a solution to prepare the skin for the chemical peel, two layers of the chemical peel, and a neutralizing solution.  The peel gently removes dead skin cells, improves skin texture, hydrates, replenishes moisture, promotes healthy circulation, cell turnover, and skin renewal, and helps calm and soothe irritated skin.  The face is then cleansed to remove the chemical peel and neutralizer.
Finishing products are then applied to the face, including growth factors, retinol, antioxidants, moisturizing serums, vitamins C, E, and Coenzyme Q-10.  After the Stimulator peel, skin appears hydrated, smooth, and visibly brighter, and cosmetics can be worn immediately after the treatment.  The Stimulator peel can be performed as frequently as once weekly, and many patients receive a Stimulator peel monthly, or combined with microdermabrasion.  Get your skin red-carpet-ready for the holidays, and treat yourself to this luxurious facial!

New patients receive 25% off microdermabrasion and chemical peel services performed in December.
