Ear, Nose, & Throat
Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States, focusing on diseases and disorders of the Ear, Nose, and Throat, it is also known as ENT. Our providers are board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, AOBOO, and treat both adult and pediatric patients.
Kids are physiologically different than adults. Physicians at Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists treat the full spectrum of common pediatric ENT problems, including Tonsillitis and Adenoiditis, Snoring, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Chronic Ear Problems, Congenital Abnormalities of the Ear, Hearing Loss, Hoarseness, Otitis Media and Otitis Externa (Swimmer’s Ear) as well as other disorders such as neck lumps and masses, nasal deformities and obstruction.
Modern medicine has made many advances. Even with the best of medications, at times there still may be a need for surgical intervention. Fortunately, the team at Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists is very current in minimally invasive surgery options to better serve our patients.
Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists have capabilities to treat all areas of the head and neck and include everything from inserting drainage tubes in the ears in an office setting to complex surgery for the removal of a head and neck tumor, or BAHA implant surgery for hearing loss.
