After 24 years of dedicated service to patients across Grand Rapids, Holland, and across West Michigan, Dr. Claudell Cox will retire from clinical practice on September 25, 2026. Throughout his career, Dr. Cox has cared for thousands of patients and families, earning a reputation for clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate care.

As one of the original partners of Grand Rapids Ear, Nose & Throat, Dr. Cox played an important role in shaping the practice and expanding access to specialized ENT and sleep apnea care throughout the region.

Dr. Cox’s career has been marked by a commitment to advancing treatment options for patients while always keeping their quality of life at the center of his work.

A recognized leader in sleep medicine and upper airway surgery, Dr. Cox achieved a significant milestone earlier this year when he completed his 500th Inspire® procedure, placing him among the top 1% of Inspire surgeons nationwide. He also recently performed his first Genio® procedure, helping expand treatment options for patients living with obstructive sleep apnea.

His willingness to embrace new technologies and techniques has helped countless patients find solutions for chronic sleep and airway conditions while strengthening the standard of care available throughout Grand Rapids, Holland, and across West Michigan.
