Anthony L. Howard

Dr. Anthony Howard is a board-certified ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat specialist) providing comprehensive care for adults and children in the Grand Rapids, MI area. A West Michigan native, he treats the full spectrum of ear, nose, throat, allergy, and head and neck conditions with a personalized, patient-centered approach.

Dr. Howard earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ascension Health (now Henry Ford Macomb–Oakland), in partnership with Michigan State University, where he served as Chief Resident. He has presented research at national meetings, published in respected medical journals, and received advanced training in minimally invasive, in-office sinus surgery, including Balloon Sinuplasty—helping patients experience faster recovery without the need for general anesthesia.

Believing that great care starts with listening, Dr. Howard takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and goals, creating treatment plans tailored to their lifestyle.

His areas of expertise include:

• Sinus and nasal disorders – chronic sinus infections, nasal blockage, allergies, and in-office sinus surgery including Balloon Sinuplasty
• Ear conditions – hearing loss, chronic ear infections, eardrum repair, ear pressure/fullness, dizziness, and balance disorders
• Thyroid and head & neck surgery – thyroid nodules, parathyroid disorders, and head & neck tumor removal
• Sleep and voice disorders – sleep apnea treatment, snoring, hoarseness, and vocal cord conditions
