Dr. Frederick M. DeTorres is a board-certified allergist and immunologist with more than 30 years of experience helping children and adults find relief from allergies, asthma, immune system disorders, and related conditions. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that helps patients breathe easier, feel better, and enjoy a healthier quality of life. He is board-certified in both Allergy & Immunology and Internal Medicine and has spent decades serving patients throughout West Michigan.

Dr. DeTorres evaluates and treats a wide range of conditions, including seasonal allergies, environmental allergies, allergic rhinitis, asthma, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, chronic hives, angioedema, recurrent infections, and immune deficiencies. He offers comprehensive allergy testing and works closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of symptoms and improve long-term health.

A recognized leader in allergy and asthma care, Dr. DeTorres has been actively involved in asthma education, research, physician training, and community outreach for decades. He has participated on the Asthma Committee for the Primary Care Network at Mercy Hospital and has presented and taught extensively on asthma, allergic diseases, and immunology to healthcare professionals throughout West Michigan.
