Dr. Anthony Howard was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area and is a 2011
graduate of Grand Valley State University. He received his medical degree from
Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016 and went on to
complete residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Ascension Health
partnered with Michigan State University. In training he served as Chief Resident,
presented his research at national meetings and published his research in some of the
most reputable medical journals.
Dr. Howard practices all aspects of Otolaryngology, caring for adult and pediatric
patients. He has special interests in treating patients with chronic or recurrent sinus
infections, nasal blockage, allergy, hearing loss, chronic ear infections, perforated ear
drums, ear pressure/fullness, dizziness, tumors of the head and neck,
thyroid/parathyroid disorders, chronic tonsil infections, throat pain, snoring, sleep apnea
and voice disorders
Dr. Howard received special training in minimally invasive sinus procedures that are
performed in the office without the need for general anesthesia. These interventions
provide the same symptom relief for patients without the lengthy recovery.
Dr. Howard takes pride in educating his patients on the impact ENT and allergy
conditions have on their quality of life and providing tailored treatment plans to their
individual needs.
Dr. Howard lives in Byron Center with his wife and daughter.
